CWG Update: Gayanthika Abeyratne finishes eighth in Women's 800m Heat 1

Sri Lanka's Gayanthika Abeyratne clocked 2:04.72mins to finish eighth in the Women's 800m Heat 1 at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (12).

South Africa's Caster Semenya clocked 1:59.26m to win the heat, followed by England's Alexandra Bell, with 2:00.11mins, to qualify to the final.
