CWG Update: Ushan Charuka placed overall 8th in Men's 105kg Weightlifting

Sri Lanka's Ushan Charuka was placed overall eighth in the Weightlifting Men's 105kg category at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (9).

Charuka lifted 142kgs in Snatch and 187kgs in Clean and Jerk to finish with a combined lift of 329kgs in total.

New Zealand's David Liti lifted 403kgs with a new meet record to win the gold medal.

Samoa's Lauititi Lui lifted 400kgs to win the silver medal while Pakistan's Dastgir Butt claimed the bronze medal with 395kgs.
