The two Sri Lanka Women's Doubles teams won their Badminton Doubles Round of 32 matches at the Commonwealth Games today (11).
Hasini Ambalangodage and Dilrukshi Madushika beat Kimberley Clague and Cristen Marritt of isle of Man 2-0 while Thilini Hendahewa and Kavindi Sirimannage Pakistanis Palwasha Bashir and Mahoor Shahzad 2-0 to qualify for the Round of 16.
Hasini and Madushika beat Clague and Marritt by 21-13 and 21-19 and will meet Marie Elisa Allet and Nicki Chan-Lam in the Round of 16 match on Thursday (12).
Hendahewa and Sirimannage won their game by 21-6 and 21-15 against Bashir and Shahzad and will meet South Africa's Michelle Butler-Emmett and Elsie de Villiers in the Round of 16 match on Thursday (12).
