Ratnam SC and New Star SC Panadura will clash in the final of the Lawrence Fernando Memorial Challenge Trophy Gold Cup tournament on April 21 at the City League Sports Complex, Colombo commencing 4.00pm.
The tournament is being conducted by the Colombo Football league. Eight teams affiliated to the Colombo FL took part in the competition.
In the first semi-final Ratnam SC had an easy passage defeating Kirulapona United 4-1.
In the second semi-final New Star SC beat Old Bens 4-2.
Both semi-finals took place at the Football Federation Baddegana Training Center Complex.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
