The 4th Traveller Global (Pvt) Ltd., sponsored, Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Annual 7–a-side Football Tournament 2016will be held on Sunday (21) at the Edward Henry Pedris Stadium commencing 9.00am.
Sponsor, Traveller Global, Classic Travels, Cinnamon Red, Cinnamon Grand, Luxe Asia, Mackinnons Travels, Paradise Beach Hotel, Negombo, The Kingsbury, Walkers Tours & Hotel J Negombo have confirmed their participation.
2015 double winner, SriLankan Airlines are expected to participate.
Their ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams met in last year’s ‘Cup’ final, while the ‘Plate’ was won by Traveller Global and the ‘Bowl’ by Mermaid Hotel and Club, Kalutara.
The three Special awards on offer are for Most Outstanding Player, Most Promising Player and Most Up and Coming Player.
This will be the 4th Sports event conducted by the TTSC on its 40th Anniversary, having earlier conducted the Carrom, Archery and Bowling events.
Up next will be the Badminton and Table Tennis Tournaments on September 4 at S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia Indoor Stadium, and the Softball Cricket ‘Sixes’ on September 11 at Shalika grounds.

The deadline for online applications to the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been extended until July 12, the Department of Examinations said.
