B.A. Sanjeewa, came from five strokes behind to beat Amarapadma on the post by a single stroke. It was a ding-dong battle with Chalitha Pushpika playing a steady game to take the lead in the February CAT SOLAR powered Pin Fernando Grand Prix, final Round, playing the fourth last hole.
A triple Bogey by Chalitha put paid to his chance of winning and Sanjeewa, who kept his cool to return an Even Par 73, beat Amarapadma on the winning line to win by one stroke.
Lamindu Rainika followed up his January victory by winning the Junior Prize once again.
The players playing with a black arm band, mourning for their fellow player Arumugam -- a gentleman Golfer who represented Sri Lank for over 15 years, played visibly under the stress.
