Sri Lanka recorded a smashing 7-2 win against Uzbekistan in the 5th Asia Hockey Federation Cup Pool 'B' opening game played in Hong Kong on Sunday (20).
Sri Lanka led the halftime 3-1 after Sandaruwan Priyalanka slotted a goal followed by two from Shamika Gunawardene in the first half.
Priyankara completed a hat-trick in the second half netting two more goals as Lahiru Weerasuriya and Maduranga Wijesinghe scored one each to record a comprehensive win.
Sri Lanka takes on Singapore in their second Pool 'B' game on Tuesday (22).
