Trinity College, Kandy will host S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia in their annual hockey encounter which will take place at the Asgiriya Stadium on Sunday (3).
The matches will commence at 1.30pm.
The Under-19 encounter will be battled out by both teams for Warden Neville de Alwis Trophy, which was inaugurated in 2003.
The Thomians are leading the series with seven wins to Trinitians' five with two encounters ending in draws.
R.H. Rambukpotha will lead the visitors in the Under-19 segment while the home team will be led by Amir Shoaib.
The Under-16 encounter will be played for B.S.G. Sahayam Shield while the Old Boys encounter will be played for Mirzan Ousmand Trophy.
Sanjeevan Subaramaniam will lead Trinity Old Boys while the Thomians will be led by Pasindu Wanigasooriya.
Razeen Haniffa, the Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at the Open University of Sri Lanka will be the chief guest. He won his Hockey Lion at Trinity in 1974.
