Hockey: Under-18 Championships from July 1 to 4

The All-Island Schools Under-18 Boys and Girls Hockey Cchampionship 2017 organised and conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association will take place at Rajarata University ground, Mihintale in Anuradhapura from July 1st to 4. 

The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday 1 July at 8.00 am. 

School boys and girls born on or after 2000 January first are eligible to compete in this championship. 

Entries for this tournament should be sent to reach the secretary of S.L.S.H.A Anuruddha Herath Bandara, Vijaya College Matale on or before June 26th. 

The schools sending their teams for the tournament could confirm their participation over the following T.P Numbers - Anuruddha Herath Bandara , Secretary S.L.S.H.A on 071 90 59 933 and Indrawansha Herath, Chairman tournament committee S.L.S.H.A on 0717756353. 

Last year Nalanda College Colombo and St. Thomas' Matale emerged joint champions in the boy’s championship while Janadhipathi Girl’s School Nawala and Sri Sangamitta Girls NS Matale were declared joint champions in the girl’s championship.
