Sri Lanka named a well balanced Women’s squad for the South Asian Games (SAG) Women's Hockey Championship which will be held in Guwahati, India.
The Sri Lanka Women’s stickers will leave for India this week where they are set to play two first round matches before moving into the knockout stage.
The side is coached by G.G. Dharmaratne who feels that the team is strong in all departments.
The team has been practicing at the Astro Turf in Colombo under the watchful eyes of consultant coach Mohammed Akhlaq from Pakistan.
