The ongoing MCA Division ‘F’ 25-Over League Cricket Tournament 2016 slid further into turmoil, due to the prevailing inclement weather.
The Tournament Committee, at their weekly meeting on Wednesday, decided to postpone the 20 matches billed for this weekend of May 28 and 29.
The tournament which got under way on May 7, survived the weather till May 14, when 22 matches were completed.
Then the rains came and the 10 matches billed for May 15 were washed out without a ball being bowled. The tournament was put on hold during the Vesak weekend of May 21 and 22.
The postponed matches will now be rescheduled and the tournament is expected to get back on track from last weekend.
