Reigning champions Kandy SC, reached the final of the Dialog Clifford Cup Knockout Rugby Championship after beating Navy SC by 37 to 27 in the semi-final played at Pallekele on Sunday (20).
Kandy led 34-17 at halftime and scored from six tries, two conversions and a penalty, through which they could add some points to their total in the second half.
The Sailors made a gallant effort after the turn of ends but had to end up losers with a tally of four tries, two conversions and a penalty.
Kandy will meet CR&FC in the final of the Dialog Clifford Cup Knockout Rugby Championship on Saturday (26) at the Racecourse ground.
