Kandy SC recorded a smashing victory 56-16 victory against CR and FC in the semi-final of the Dialog Clifford Cup Knockout Rugby Championship played at Nittawela on Wednesday (22).
The win takes Kandy SC to the finals of the Knockout Championship where they are set to meet the winner of Thursday's (23) Havelocks vs Navy semi-final battle on Sunday (26).
Kandyled the halftime 27-9 and went on to score from nine tries, four conversions and a penalty.
CR fought well but had to end up with a tally of a converted try and three penalties.
