Rugby: Navy scrape through to down Army 25-24
Navy SC edged out Army SC 25-24 to record a thrilling win in the first round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club League Rugby Championship played at the Racecourse ground in Colombo today (26).
The battle was intense from the beginning as the Sailors secured a comfortable 20-10 lead at halftime.
But the Soldiers bounced back to give their opponents much scare as the game ended in a thrilling note.
Navy SC collected their points from three tries, two conversions, a drop goal and a penalty as Army SC responded with three converted tries and a penalty.
