MAS Holdings ‘A’ beat Access Group 10-7 in a stunning game to win the 46th Mercantile Rugby 7s Championship at the CR&FC ground in Longdon Place on Sunday (12). MAS ‘A’ led 5-0 at halftime as they scored from two unconverted tries, both off Nigel Ratwatte. Access scored from a converted try. This was the fifth Mercantile Rugby 7s title for MAS ‘A’. Dialog ‘A’ won the Plate title after beating Johns Keels Holding ‘A’ 10-5. Johns Keels Holding ‘B’ won the Bowl championship beating Dialog ‘B’. Kanrich Finance beat Kandurata Umbrella 26-12 to grab the Shield Championship.
