CR&FC had to put out all their efforts to record a hard fought 33-31 win against Police SC in their second round match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship at Police Park today (6).
The Red Shirts may have come into this game expecting a comfortable win after their thumping 53-10 win over Police in the first round, but it was a total contrast of their expectations.
At halftime CR led 26-10 and went on to complete with a tally of five tries and four conversions, while the Cops made a rampaging comeback in the second half to score off three converted tries, a penalty try and a penalty.
