Trinity College beat S. Thomas’ College 10-5 to win the All-Island Schools Under-14 12-a-side Rugby Championship played at the Royal College Sports Complex on Sunday (9). Trinity scored from a converted try and a drop goal while the Thomians scored from an unconverted try as both teams failed to score in the second half. Kingswood College recorded a 17-0 win against Royal College to win the Plate championship of the tournament. Kingswood led the halftime by 10-0 and scored from three tries and a conversion. Wesley College won the Bowl title after beating Dharmaraja College 10-7 while St. John’s College Nugegoda grabbed the Shield championship after defeating Piliyandala Central 33-0.
