SL in Eng: Sri Lanka names Test squad with two new caps

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced a 17-man squad for the Test series against England which begins with the first match at Leeds from May 19 to 23.
    
The Test squad captained by Angelo Mathews includes two new faces -- batsmen Dasun Shanaka and Dhananjaya de Silva where Lahiru Thirimanne also finds a slot. 

In addition the Test side includes four wicketkeeper/batsmen, Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, Niroshan Dickwella and Kaushal Silva, who suffered a mild concussion during a practice game played at Pallekele last Sunday (24). 

The team will depart next Wednesday (May 4) to begin the almost two-month long tour which includes three Tests, five ODIs and a Twenty20 and two additional ODIs against Ireland in Dublin. 

Sri Lankans will play two three-day warm up games at Chelmsford from May 8 top 10 and at Leicester from May 13 to 15 before the first Test at Leeds. 

The second Test match will be played from May 27 to 31 at Chester-le-Street followed by the Lord's game from June 9 to 13.
