Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named a 15-man squad under the captaincy of Dinesh Chandimal for Sri Lanka’s three-match Twenty20 Series against India which to be played from February 9 to 14.
The squad excludes regulars Angelo Mathews, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekera, Rangana Herath and Nuwan Pradeep as they have not been made available for selection due to injuries.
The squad includes newcomers Asela Gunaratne and Dasun Chanaka while fast bowler Dilhara Fernando makes a comeback after a long absence.
The first match of the series will be played on February 9 in Pune followed by the second game on February 12 in Delhi and the third and final game on February 14 in Vizag.
The Sri Lanka team will leave for India on February 6.
