Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today (14) released the ODI and Twenty20 squads for the ongoing series against New Zealand under the captaincy of Lasith Malinga.
The squad includes 17 players with Niroshan Dickwella being named as the vice captain.
"His Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena has approved the following 17 players to represent the National ODI and T20 Squad of Sri Lanka during the ongoing tour in New Zealand," SLC confirmed the Sri Lanka squad through a communiqué.
Senior players Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal and Thisara Perera are in the squad while Asela Gunaratne and Seekkuge Prasanna will make a comeback to the side.
Sri Lanka will play three ODIs and a Twenty20 game after the completion of the two-match Test series.
