Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has confirmed that it is ready to host Sri Lanka for two Tests with a ODI Triangular featuring West Indies to follow beginning from October 29.
ZC earlier stated that it was not in a stable position monetarily to host Tests, instead was looking at hosting an ODI Triangular with West Indies as the third team.
ZC decided to move ahead with the schedule similar to the ICC's original FTP with two Tests but the three ODIs will be replaced with the Triangular.
But ZC has not announced on the only Twenty20 International which was part of the tour.
The two Tests will be played in Harare, with the first one from October 29 and the second from November 6 followed by the Triangular beginning from November 14.
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe last played a Test in a two-match series in 2004 and overall both sides have played 15 Tests against each other.
Sri Lanka has won 10 and five ended in draws.
