Southern Province beat North Central by 7 wickets to win the SLC-Prima Under-15 Provincial Championship at Colts ground on Wednesday (7). North Central, batting first were shot out for 88 with Kaveen Bandara top scoring for the side with a fighting yet unsupportive 17. Southern Province raced to victory with 23.3 overs to spare. Keshara Nuwantha of Southern Province was adjudged the man-of-the-match and the best bowler of the final for his contribution of 3 for 11. Venura Hiranjith, who hit an unbeaten 31 for the winning team was named the best batsman of the final while his team mate Ravindu Rasantha won the best batsman of the tournament award.
