Nuwanidu Fernando’s unbeaten knock of 64 paved the way for Sri Lanka Under-19 to record a convincing 6-wicket win over host Bangladesh Under-19 to begin their Under-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament campaign on winning note in the match played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh on Saturday (29).
Fernando's knock comprised seven boundaries and a six associated in a match winning 90-run stand for the fourth with Pasindu Sooriyabandara enabling the side in pursuit of 142 runs for victory to reach the target with ease in the 38th over.
