The first Youth Test match between the Under-19 teams of Sri Lanka and Pakistan ended in a draw at Sooriyawewa on Tuesday (6). Pakistan Under-19s, chasing an impossible target of 350 runs, ended the day at 143 for 3 wickets when the match ended. Sri Lanka Under-19s posted 347 for 9 in their first innings with skipper Charith Asalanka hitting 200 and in reply Pakistan were restricted to 209. In their second innings Sri Lanka declared at 211 for the loss of 3 wickets with Avishka Fernando top scoring 63 and Sammu Ashan remaining unbeaten on 54, leaving Pakistan a target of 350.
