Royal College captain Nikhila Gunadheera has been appointed as the skipper of the Sri Lanka Under-19s Rugby team that will feature in the Asian Youth 15s Championship from December 11 to 17 in Malaysia.
Isipathana College skipper Kushan Indunil will act as his deputy while Nilfer Ibrahim has been appointed as the coach.
Former Wesley College head coach, Isipathana College assistant coach Terence Henry will assist Ibrahim.
The team will leave for Malaysia on December Friday (9).
Sri Lanka will play against Malaysia on Sunday (11), Hong Kong on December 14 and Chinese Taipei on December 17 in their Pool games.
