Ananda College prevailed over Thurstan College 30-17 after a thrilling battle to claim a spot in the final of the Milo Premier Trophy Under-20 Schools Rugby Championship after their semi-final win at the Sugathadasa Stadium on Saturday (17).
Ananda led the halftime 13-10 and scored from five tries, a conversion and a penalty.
Thurstan scored from four tries, two conversions and a penalty.
Ananda will meet the winner of the second semi-final game between St. Benedict's College and Maliyadeva College to be played on Sunday (18).
