Kevin Dixon, the former St. Peter's College winger will lead an experienced Sri Lanka Under-20 7s side at the Asian Rugby Under-20 7s Series which will be played this weekend in Malaysia.
The touring side includes 12 players, who were featured in the Series last year as their eligibility in the age restriction will qualify them to play this year too.
Almost all the players were featured in the Sri Lanka Youth team in 7s and 15s as well as the concluded domestic Inter-Club League season representing top clubs.
Sri Lanka will play against Philippines, Thailand, Japan and the United Arab Emirates in the group stage before reaching the knockout stage.
Former Sri Lanka 7s skipper, Police and Isipathana scrumhalf Sudath Sampath will lead the contingent as the head coach.
The Under-20 7s Series is organised by the Asian Rugby Football Union and will be held in two legs -- in Malaysia and later in Hong Kong.
