Royal College beat traditional rivals Trinity College by 13-8 in the second leg of the 73rd Bradby Shield Rugby encounter and regain the title at the Royal College Sports Complex today (3).
After a slow and soggy first half both teams had scored off a penalty each to remain tied at 3-all at halftime.
Royal scored two unconverted tries in the second half to their tally while Trinity responded with a late unconverted try to finish off 13-8.
With a five-point advantage from the first leg played at Pallekele, where Royal won 22-18, the Colombo side regained the Bradby Shield with an aggregate of 35-26.
