The much delayed Singer Schools Under-20 Rugby 7s Tournament which usually heralds the Schools Rugby season and will now be played on July 1 and 2 at the Racecourse ground in Reid Avenue.
The tournament will see the participation of all the top rugby playing schools who up to now has confirmed their participation.
There will be 32 teams in the fray divided into eight groups of four.
Denzil Darling, secretary of the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association said the tournament will be played according to the new laws of IRB which came into effect from June 1.
Last year S. Thomas’ College emerged champions defeating Isipathana College.
