St. Joseph's College dominated the first half to beat S. Thomas' College by 26-12 and claim the Lady Jayatilleke Shield in their second round Cup Segment matches of the Singer Schools Under-20 Rugby League Championship played at Havelock Park today (13).
The Josephians were dominant from the first whistle as they scored all their points in the first half through four tries and three conversions.
At halftime the winners led 26-7.
The Thomians prevented their opponents from scoring a single point in the second half as they collected their points through two tries and a conversion.
