Wrestling: National Championship 2016 from Thursday

The National Wrestling Championship 2016 will be held from Thursday (1) to Saturday (3) at the New Indoor Stadium of the Sports Ministry at Torrington in Colombo.

The meet organised and conducted annually by the Wrestling Federation of Sri Lanka (WFSL) will be tagged as 'Pulsar Power' National Championship, where all its affiliated clubs, associations, institutions and schools are expected to compete.

Events will be conducted under eight different weight categories for men and women and under 10 different weight categories for juniors.

The championship also will be considered to select players for international events in 2017 and 2018 according to WFSL.
