The Samagi Jana Balawageya led by Opposition leader Sajith Premadsa held a protest in Colombo demanding resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
