President Maithripala Sirisena declared open a wax museum which is parts of the Polonnaruwa ancient technology museum yesterday. The aforesaid wax statue museum is a special attraction of this museum and depicts statues of all the leaders of Sri Lanka in the post- independent era.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
