The Samurdhi Computer Assistants' Association yesterday staged a protest in Colombo requesting the government to reinstate them in their permanent jobs which had been suspended.
Protestors emphasized that 1500 individuals had been given appointments as computer assistants on September 9, 2019 and that current heads of the Samurdhi Department were saying their appointments are illegal.
