Footage shows Saudi intelligence officer dressed up in Khashoggis clothes leaving the consulate
A latest CCTV footage shows a Saudi intelligence officer sporting a fake beard while being clad in journalist Jamal Khashoggis clothes and glasses on the day the journalist went missing.
The footage was captured when the man had left the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 02 October.
According to CNN, the official in the clip has been identified as Mustafa al-Madani.
Turkish investigators say that the same man was seen in the writer's clothing at the city's Blue Mosque just hours after Khashoggi's disappearance.
