FCCISL’s Peace Initiative wins social marketing award at Asian competition

FCCISL’s Business for Peace Initiative (BPI) was judged the Best Social Marketing Project at the recently held Brand Excellence Awards of the Asian Brand Congress.

The BPI was launched by the FCCISL in March 2006 with the aim of harnessing support of business community for the cause of peace building in Sri Lanka. All regional chambers of commerce from the Northern and Eastern provinces and bordering districts joined with the FCCISL as implementation partners of the initiative, a FCCISL press release said.
