Tilak takes over as AMW chairman
 

Tilak De Zoysa

Tilak De Zoysa this week assumed duties as Chairman of Associated Motorways Group, in line with decisions taken after a Dubai-based company bought a majority stake in the company.

Mr De Zoysa, earlier deputy chairman, said the company is in the process of sharing the international management, sales, production and after sales expertise of Al Futtaim Group of Dubai since AMW is now associated with Al Futtaim. He takes over from his elder brother, Ajita.

The other directors of the company are G.B.R.De Silva, Deputy Managing Director/Motor, H.S.A.K. Caldera, Deputy Managing Director/Manufacturing, Lalith De Alwis, Finance Director, Ashan De Zoysa, Director Group General Manager, A. R.Peiris, Ms Priyanthi Pieris, Collin Douglas Wallace Leitch, David Vincent Ford and Avijit Majundar (the latter three representing the Al Futtaim group).
