‘Slumdog’ in town

Oscar awarded ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ directed by Danny Boyle based on the Vikas Swarup novel ‘Q & A’ now successfully runs at the Majestic Cinema Colombo.

Set and filmed in India, the film tells the story of Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) a street kid (or “slumdog”) who has landed an appearance on India’s version of the hit TV game show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?
