Established in 1987, Sunway University College (SunU) has been providing international students the opportunity for an affordable yet quality overseas education that comes along with a wholesome experience of university campus life and cross-cultural exposure.

SunU has grown from a pioneer of twinning programmes, to a premier institution of higher learning in Asia, with a reputation of providing internationally recognized degrees, pre-university diploma and professional courses. In Sri Lanka International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Limited (ISES), are the representatives of SunU. Students could choose from a diverse range of academic disciplines at SunU, from diploma to degree courses from reputable partner universities in UK, US and Australia. The major disciplines include Accountancy, Banking/Finance, Information Technology, Psychology, Hospitality, Tourism, Art, Design and Performing Arts. Bachelor degrees under Victoria University, Australia and Western Michigan University, United States offer unique twinning and transfer features which significantly benefit students in terms of cost savings by enabling them to complete their degrees in Malaysia or transferring overseas.

With a proven track record for producing award-winning graduates, SunU is also well-known for its professional accountancy courses that offer prestigious and globally-recognized qualifications such as Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). As for postgraduate studies, SunU offers internationally-recognized Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes, in collaboration with Victoria University in Australia and Manchester Business School (MBS), University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
Our latest additions of Masters of Science post-graduate courses are offered in affiliation with the Lancaster University Management School, which is ranked No.4 in the UK and No.27 in the world (Financial Time Global MBA 2009). The MSc majors are in Management, Management with Law and Money, Banking & Finance.

SunU's standard of teaching and course quality remains on par with that offered at the overseas institutions. Academic lecturers are honed in the importance of regular student contact and guidance to students, both necessary to encourage and motivate students to realize their academic potential. Students benefit from smaller classes and the provision of more than 50 clubs and societies provide an avenue for expression and a total university experience.

Located on a 10 hectare campus, SunU campus is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of academic and sporting facilities. The on-campus hostels provide accommodation for over 2,000 students and are equipped with air-conditioning. The academic facilities include large lecture halls, computer and multimedia laboratories, science laboratories and an award-winning library. There are also training facilities for specialised courses such as black box theatre for performing arts students, psychology lab and observation room for psychology students, training restaurant and kitchens for hospitality and tourism students.

To encourage students to adopt a healthy and active balanced lifestyle, SunU provides sporting facilities such as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a full size field for football, rugby, hockey and even cricket. Counsellors, lecturers and programme directors are available to support students in career guidance, academic or personal issues. SunU has, to date, more than 50 professional, social and sports clubs and societies.
