Klaviola performance at the ‘California Grill’

‘Klaviola’, the latest addition to Colombo Music Scene will come alive at the California Grill of Galadari Hotel from April.

The duo Rasika Dinesh Hewage and Nuwan Vithanage of ‘Klaviola’ break barriers through the Piano and Viola, making a mesmeric Classical and jazz Music at the Roof top California Grill. The music athe California Grill is one of the best in town with Paul Pereira entertaining with Piano music every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays, while Ernest Francis takes over every Tuesday evenings.

The weekends are set for the revellers to dance the night away with music by Klaviola on Fridays and Ernest Combo on Saturdays. Rasika and Nuwan of ‘Klaviola’ had been performing together for many years and have been a huge success. Their music has been enjoyed by many and the reviews indicate that they are a classically marvelous combination. Rasika is a performing member of the ‘Sri Lanka Symphony Orchestra’ since 1997 and ‘String Chamber Orchestra’ since 1999.

Nuwan is too a performing member of the Sri Lanka Symphony Orchestra since 1997 and ‘Krasna String Chamber Orchestra’ since 1999. Though he plays Viola for the Symphony Orchestra, his passion is for Piano.

California Grill having earned a reputation that cannot be matched for its super Steaks and Sea Food now provides with the smooth sounds of the fabulous ‘Klaviola. It caters to a cross section of patrons from regular local guests to foreign travellers will further meet their clientele’s needs as hotel’s popular ‘Dancing Chef’ Anushan Perera creates a menu to fit every gastronomic fantasy.

The menu features hot and cold appetizers, salads, soups and a vast range of main courses from seafood, meat dishes including the firm favourites ‘Seafood Grill’ and ‘Prim Rib’. There is a fabulous selection of hot and cold desserts from Flambe’s to Crepes.
