UK-based freight forwarding company, Cargo Overseas Limited, this week said it has opened a new branch in Colombo called Cargo Overseas Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
The UK company is the first UK freight forwarder to invest directly in Sri Lanka. In conjunction with its long established local partner, Gamini Gunaratna, the compani expects the Sri Lankan market to provide vast potential for expansion following the end of the unrest in the country.
The new firm will commence operations in early August. |
