Kanchana Ratwatte gets new post

Kanchana Ratwatte has been appointed as Chairman/Director General of the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA) by Minister of Mass Media and Information and Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Anura Priyadarshana Yapa. Prior to thi appointment, Mr. Ratwatte served as the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.

The NEDA has been established for the purpose of promoting supporting and encouraging development of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs. Special emphasis would be made for Sri Lankan companies to go multinational and be competitive in the international sphere, Mr.Ratwatte said.
