Sri Lanka Telecom Services Ltd (SLTS), a subsidiary of SLT and a leading networking solutions provider in the island, has been awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for its high level quality management system.
This will enable them to demonstrate their high standard of quality when bidding for international contracts and accommodating new businesses, the CEO of SLTS Prassanna Perera told the Sunday Times FT.
SLTS's business presently include value added Internet services,customer premises structured cabling systems and provision of total networking solutions to corporate customers. “We promote the data networking infrastructure of SLT, the best available in the country,” he said, adding that their aim is to build a company that can bring its extensive legacy capabilities in engineering and project management to serve the market place for data networking in a highly responsive, flexible and customer focused way.
