With the crisis faced by unregulated deposit-receiving institutions growing, the Sunday Times Business Club next week is bringing together key stakeholders at a forum to discuss these issues and ways of overcoming the crisis.
At the club’s meeting on September 24 at the Cinnamon Grand, a group of panellists including Ms Nilo Goonetilleke, President of the Association of Depositors at F&G and Shirley Perera, Chairman, Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka will speak on issues pertaining to the law, concerns of depositors and the position of finance companies. This will be followed by a discussion in a session themed ‘Finance Companies: The crisis and moving forward.’
The club is hosted by the Cinnamon Grand Hotel and co-sponsored by Hameedia. |
