The Managing Director and Regional Head of Banking in Asia Pacific of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), John Mullin met with Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, in Colombo last week. RBS has been recently appointed as a Joint Lead Manager for the proposed Sri Lanka Government sovereign bond issue in 2009. Presently, 70 % of the RBS is owned by the UK Government.
