What is a UK Professional Qualification?
UK Professional Qualification is awarded by Professional Bodies in UK. These qualifications help you to understand and develop practical skills of the work that interests you most. These are generally Level 5 qualifications that eliminate any barrier to enter a Degree programme. These professional programmes help you gain entrance towards a final year Honours Degree.

Companies tend to give more preference to people with Professional Qualifications when recruiting. At present students with or reading for other Professional Qualifications are most likely to be selected at a job interview rather than those with a Degree. Education and Sri Lanka
Some institutes in Sri Lanka offer academic education and promote these with packages to study abroad but not giving the exact knowledge about the programme to students.
