Jaffna student wins computer in essay contest

A nine-year-old student from St. Patrick's College in Jaffna was awarded a Dell desktop computer after winning an essay competition commemorating the great sage Sri Arulampala Swamy from Viraparimoolai, Point Pedro.

The student, Joseph Vaz received his prize from the Secretary of the Arullanantha Trust (UK) Shanthi Muttukrishna at the annual Kumbabishekam ceremony held on December 1 at the Sri Arulampala Swamy Samadhi Temple, Viyaparimoolai, Point Pedro.
