Sri Lanka Telecom, the local operator controlled by Malaysia's Maxis, recently donated ten sets of beds, mattresses, bed sheets and pillow cases to one hostel of Ratmalana's School for the Blind, according to a statement by the company.

This donation to the hostel, which houses 33 boys in total, all with either partial or full sight-impairments, was indicated to be timely as many of the beds and mattresses of this hostel were either in need of repair or completely worn out.
