Sri Lanka's Commercial Bank recently conducted an awareness programme on its "Paymaster" electronic payment mechanism which encompassed over 60 of its customers from the Katunayake Free Trade Zone and Pannala areas, according to a statement by the bank. Further, it was indicated that over 1,200 of the bank's corporate clients use this service.
Quoted in the statement, the bank's Deputy General Manager for Operations, Sanath Bandaranayake, revealed that a website was now available to access "Paymaster" online, with customers allowed to "login from anywhere in Sri Lanka by using their usernames and passwords and directly upload files". In addition, it emerged that ETF payments could also be available through this online banking platform. |
