SLT provides books to North-East students

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) recently provided books to students in the Northern and Eastern provinces in a continuing collaboration with the Asia Foundation.

Educational institutes that benefitted from this programme included the University of Jaffna, Jaffna Public Library and all Jaffna schools as well as Morawewa Yaya 6 Vidyalaya, Kanniya Tamil Mixed School, Trincomalee Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya, and several pre-schools in Poonaryn. The books were worth over Rs. 5 million.
